Indeed. Brooks explains very well the reasons why I don’t worry too terribly much about a Democratic president in 2008. Whoever the Democrat is, they won’t be able to do all that much damage to the war effort, or enact too many wallet busting social programs.
And, of course, the fighting between the leftists and the political realists will be delicious blog fodder.
